👶 How to Keep Your Baby Alive the First 4 Weeks (aka The Sh*t No One Tells You)
Welcome to the newborn trenches — where time doesn’t exist, your nipples are on fire, and you’re constantly Googling “is it normal if…” 😅
Let’s cut through the noise and get to the stuff that actually keeps your baby alive — and keeps you from losing your mind.
💡 Here’s what really matters:
• Feeding: Breast, formula, combo — just make sure your baby eats. Don’t stress about freezer stashes or lactation cookies.
• Sleep: It’s chaotic and broken — that’s normal. Prioritize safe sleep: firm, flat surface, nothing else in the crib.
• Crying: Babies cry. A lot. It doesn’t mean you’re failing. Gas, overstimulation, or just because — it’s all normal.
• Diapers: Count the wet/dirty diapers (it’s a better indicator than guessing).
• You: Take care of yourself. Fed parent = fed baby. Sleep when you can, eat what you can, and give yourself grace.
✨ You got this — one messy day at a time.
