What unfolded across East St. Louis wasn’t a random act of violence-it was a targeted attack that wiped out nearly an entire family. Illinois State Police say seven relatives were shot across three separate locations, leaving five dead and two others fighting for their lives. Authorities have taken two teenage suspects, ages 15 and 16, into custody, and investigators say one of the suspects is related to one of the victims.
